L01 - The Personal Injuries Assessment Board
This course provides knowledge and information on the personal injuries assessment board. The course aims to present a practical interpretation of the PIAB Act 2003, the PIAB (Amendment) Act 2007 and relevant Case Law, including the question of costs. Completion of this course should assist any practitioner in day to day dealings with PIAB and the handling of the issues that arise for all Solicitors.

About the author:
Gerry Dunne is a Partner in the Dublin firm of O’Brien Dunne Solicitors, specialising in Litigation. Gerry has over 20 year experience as a qualified Solicitor and in recent years has become very familiar through his work, with the operations and nuances of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board. This course aims to present a practical interpretation of the PIAB Act 2003, the PIAB (Amendment) Act 2007 and relevant Case Law, including the question of costs. Completion of this course should assist any practitioner in day to day dealings with PIAB and the handling of the issues that arise for all Solicitors.
