In
this self-paced on-line course participants
will explore ‘The Net as an Interactive Tool
for the Classroom’. Participants will be introduced
to and explore ‘WebQuests on the Net’,
appreciate that the Net is a Treasure Trove of Support
Materials for Maths and Literacy, will be introduced
to the fantastic resources available on the Internet
to support the delivery of the SESE curriculum and
will be directed to the many internet based resources
for Art, Music and P.E. lesson planning and delivery.
The on-line format of the course enables you to study
when and where you want to learn. Content
is divided into 5 modules which you can complete in
any order between July 1st and August 27th
2010.
Participants are encouraged to interact with one
another using the communication tools (forum, chat,
e-mail) provided by the CPD College learning system.
Active facilitation throughout the course provides
expert interaction, guidance and feedback for all
participants. Assignments and questions which call
for critical reflection, self-analysis and a reasoned
response punctuate this highly interactive web based
course.
On completion of the course the participant will
be presented with their own time record, excercise
content and approval by the course facilitator as
their CPD record to keep.
