We offer our participants training courses and we enable them to meet their continuing professional development obligations as efficiently and as cost effectively as possible.

Purpose

Any information provided by course participants is obtained for one or more of the following reasons.

  • The issue of a certificate on successful completion of a course
  • To provide on request and where relevant to the Department of Education & Skills in Ireland details such as your teaching council number
  • To enable us contact you with support throughout your course
  • To facilitate ongoing contact should you agree to receive further emails from CPD College
  • To provide us with statistical information so as to better meet the needs of those engaging with our services.

Disclosure

CPD College does not share or otherwise disclose personal or website information with partners or third parties other that the Department of Education and Skills in Ireland – where relevant and appropriate.

Right of access

Course participants have the right to be given a copy of their personal data retained by CPD College. Please email CPD College supplying us with proof of your identify and we will revert by return e-mail.

Right of rectification or erasure

If a certificate of completion has been issued, this will be retained on the participant’s profile so that it can be accessed at a future date. The personal details on a profile record can be updated by the participant at any time.   

Cookies

A cookie is a small file that is automatically issued to the user’s computer when the user enters our site and which is stored by the browser on the user’s computer hard drive. Cookies identify the user’s computer, not the individual user of the computer. Cookies store some basic information that help CPD College identify if a user of a computer has previously visited the site and if the user has provided some personalised information. Accurate, complete and up to date

Personal details such as your postal address and contact phone number etc. which are on your profile can be updated by you at any time.   

Adequate, relevant, not excessive

We implement a privacy policy to review all data supplied/obtained and delete that which is not necessary, or which is no longer necessary.

Retention

It is our policy not to retain credit card details once a transaction has been finalised.
